Abstract:
We use AERMOD modeling to estimate the carbon monoxide air pollution impact by idling cars at Whitman Elementary School in the City of Tacoma. Using the modeling result, we demonstrated only one outdoor air monitoring equipment is needed to estimate the overall exposure of carbon monoxide to the entire school campus.
